Mountain bike - sporty, cool & stylish
Experience exciting mountain bike tours between glacier, mountain and lake
As soon as the snow melts on the mountain, Hans is motivated to swing on his mountain bike and starts the bike season with an easy mountain tour towards Schmittenhöhe. You cycle through colorful forests, enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Zell and let your thoughts wander. As a reward, you have earned a refreshing drink and a traditional snack at one of the huts - sounds tempting!
Exactly opposite, at the other end of the lake, you will also find great bike tours with several refreshment stops. The Erlhofplatte (21.3 km, 847 m) or the Hundstein summit (16.8 km, 1,360 m) are great laps - a must for all mountain bikers in Zell am See!

MTB on the Kitzsteinhorn
If you want to face the glacier challenge by bike, choose the uphill mountain bike route with 1,952 meters above sea level over the Maiskogel to the Kitzsteinhorn, to the Alpincenter. Once there, there are refreshment stops and a free e-charging station for e-bikes.
Freeride trails
Even adrenaline-addicted freeriders will find just the right thing on the Kitzsteinhorn: a total of 3 high-alpine trails with 12 kilometers and 1,500 meters in altitude.
Freeriders and bikes can take the cable car to the trails on the glacier quickly and comfortably.
Single trail
For those bikers who simply want to try out a trail like this and are not yet used to it, we recommend the new single trail on the Maiskogel: The 4.6 km long trail with an easy level of difficulty is perfect for newbies and newcomers.

E-bike - trendy, exciting and sometimes really fast
Whether high up over steep climbs or leisurely on the valley floor - in Zell am See-Kaprun and the surrounding area there are many e-bike tours to explore.
Leisurely around Lake Zell, over the Tauern Cycle Path to the Krimml Waterfalls or by bike on the glacier - you are sure to find the right tour for you!
Of course, what shouldn't be missing on the routes are refreshment stops and e-charging stations: you can get this information from us in the hotel, because that's what we're here for.
Racing bike - light, elegant & goal-oriented
A real racing bike classic in our region is of course the Grossglockner High Alpine Road - with 26 bends and 1,700 meters of altitude - something for really sports enthusiasts. But you also have a large selection of additional racing bike tours: Kitzbüheler Round, Dienten-Hochkönig, Pillersee Round or the Tauern Cycle Path.
