Zell am See is a dog-friendly town - along the numerous walking paths you will find stations with "Sackerl fürs Gackerl" (dog bags). If you are only going for a short walk around the block, you can also get a dog bag at the hotel - just ask at the reception.
Dogs are allowed on the mountain railways as well as on public transport - just note the leash requirement.
Discover the region together with your dog
Lake Zell is ideal for cooling off in summer. A few minutes' walk from the hotel, you and your four-legged friend can enjoy the sun and swim together on the shore areas that can always be found around the lake.
There are several nature reserves in the region - perfect for a leisurely walk - both in summer and along the winter hiking trails!
If your little friend really wants to let off steam, there is a dog zone near the Thumersbacher Landesstraße at Haus Gabi. Here you can make acquaintances with other dogs and play to your heart's content.
And if you want to let off steam uphill, then head for the Schmittenhöhe, our local mountain. From the hotel you can walk directly to the hiking trails and mountain peaks - at the reception you can get tips for tours on 4 paws.
Price for your pet
We charge €10.00 per night for the dog.
Other pets can be taken along on request, please inform us in advance.
